Char Dham Odyssey
A Sacred Journey Across India's Four Spiritual Corners
India's Char Dham is one of the most revered pilgrimage circuits, connecting four sacred destinations located in the four directions of the country. Established by Adi Shankaracharya, this spiritual journey represents faith, devotion, culture, and the timeless traditions of India.
The Four Dhams
📍 Badrinath (North) – Uttarakhand
Nestled in the Himalayas on the banks of the Alaknanda River, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in India.
📍 Dwarka (West) – Gujarat
The legendary kingdom of Lord Krishna, Dwarka stands on the western coast of Gujarat and is home to the famous Dwarkadhish Temple.
📍 Jagannath Puri (East) – Odisha
Known for the world-famous Rath Yatra, Puri is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Jagannath, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
📍 Rameswaram (South) – Tamil Nadu
Located on Pamban Island, Rameswaram is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is closely associated with the Ramayana and Lord Rama's journey to Lanka.
